Atlantic Risk-Based Corrective Action (RBCA or "Rebecca") is a process that helps make the clean up of contaminated properties in Atlantic Canada more consistent and cost-effective.

- Atlantic PIRI is pleased to be nominated as a finalist for the The Canadian Urban Institute’s, 2011 CUI Brownie Awards, sponsored by the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC). Now in its 11th year, the CUI Brownie Awards program recognizes leadership and innovation in a number of key categories, including sustainable remediation technologies and excellence in project development at the neighbourhood scale.
- Atlantic PIRI’s submission Atlantic ECO-RBCA : Updated Ecological Screening for Petroleum Hydrocarbon Contaminated Sites is a Finalist in Category 1: Legislation, Policy and Program Development.
- The winners will be revealed at a Gala Dinner on the evening of October 4th on the occasion of the 12th annual Canadian Brownfields Conference, which will take place at the Allstream Centre on Exhibition Place in Toronto.
