Fee Schedule for Contaminated Site Remediation Reports
The Nova Scotia Department of Environment and Labour has established a Fee Schedule for the submission of Contaminated Site Remediation Reports as a means of recovering part of the costs associated with the administration of the Contaminated Sites Program within the Department. The Fee Schedule document (download below) explains the feesrequired and associated file types.
Nova Scotia has also developed a Fact Sheet and Report FeeDetermination Procedure and Form (also to download below) which can be used in submitting reports.
The Fees are effective October 1, 2004 and apply only to Remediation Reports submitted to the Department for closure. Reports shall be submitted to the applicableRegional or District office of the Department with the applicable Fee paymentenclosed, made payable to the Minister of Finance. Reports will not be acceptedwithout full payment of the applicable Fee.
